Last week we hotfooted it down to Belfast for a Beer + Cheese dinner at Established Coffee in Hill Street. The evening was hosted by Kevin aka Gruel Guerrilla and Mike from Mike’s Fancy Cheese. The idea was simple but genius, open the cafe after hours for an evening of artisan food and exquisite food-all local and wonderfully combined. There was a great mix of foodie folks who turned up to snag one of the limited spaces available.
The evening consisted of 5 incredible courses each one accompanied with a different beer from Boundary Brewery.
We were delighted that Broughgammon made the menu with some mouthwatering good venison and of course, goat bacon! The night finished with a very delicious cheese board and some very happy customers.
The Menu:
young buck, pear and sourdough
cauliflower, creeny and cumin (a revelation!)
Broughgammon Venison, Broughgammon goat bacon, apple and fennel (heaven!)
leeks, mustard, kale and pumpkin (so good!)
young buck ice-cream, honey and millet
raw milk cheese board, pumpkin marmalade and beet chutney
